Logan is 7 miles from Gillette Stadium in Foxborough — but that's a straight-line distance. The actual drive is about 30 miles south via I-93 and Route 1, taking 35–50 minutes depending on traffic. A rideshare from Logan runs $50–75. There's no direct transit from Logan to Foxborough — the commuter rail from South Station is the transit option.
Gillette Stadium has extensive on-site parking in the surrounding lots. This is a suburban drive-in venue where parking is the primary arrival mode. Lots are well-organized and managed by the Kraft Sports Group. Pre-purchase online for the best rates and a guaranteed spot.
Gillette Stadium's surrounding lots support a good tailgating scene. The Patriot Place entertainment development adjacent to the stadium has restaurants, bars, and shops that serve as an upscale pre-match alternative to lot tailgating. The Revolution's supporter groups (The Midnight Riders, New England Army) gather in designated areas pre-match.
The MBTA runs special game-day commuter rail service from South Station in Boston to Foxboro station, a 10-minute walk from Gillette Stadium. The train is genuinely popular for Revolution matches and for Patriots games — check mbta.com before each match for the current schedule and pre-purchase tickets. Post-match, the train fills fast.
Gillette Stadium is a suburban venue in Foxborough with no surrounding walkable neighborhood. Patriot Place adjacent to the stadium has walkable dining and entertainment, but getting to the area requires a car, rideshare, or the MBTA commuter rail.
Bike parking is available near the stadium. The surrounding Foxborough area has limited cycling infrastructure, making cycling a less practical option for most fans coming from Boston or the northern suburbs.
Accessible parking is available in ADA-designated spaces in the on-site lots. The accessible drop-off zone is near the main entrance. For accessibility services, contact Gillette Stadium at (508) 543-1776.
Gillette Stadium is primarily known as the home of the New England Patriots, and it shows — the New England Revolution share a large NFL venue in Foxborough, Massachusetts, about 30 miles south of Boston. For soccer, the configuration holds around 20,000 fans in the lower bowl, which helps create a more contained atmosphere than the full stadium would suggest. It's a clean, modern venue, but the suburban stadium complex feel is undeniable.
Getting to Foxborough without a car is the main challenge — commuter rail on the Providence/Stoughton Line runs to Foxboro Station on match days, which is a reasonable option from South Station in Boston. Driving means navigating Route 1, which can get congested before and after matches. The stadium complex has a large parking area with tailgating, which is the primary pregame activity for most fans. There's little else within walking distance of the venue itself.

Gillette Stadium is an NFL venue in Foxborough shared with the New England Patriots. Lower midfield sections offer the best combination of proximity to the touchline and clean sightlines for soccer. The Revolution have a strong and passionate supporter culture that makes Gillette a good atmosphere on big match nights despite the large stadium footprint.
Gillette Stadium’s upper bowl midfield sections provide a clean elevated view of the entire pitch. In a large NFL stadium, the upper deck is a notable step up from the lower bowl in terms of distance, but midfield sections keep the sightlines clean. Prices are lower, and the full-pitch view is useful for following the game’s shape.
The end zone upper deck sections at Gillette Stadium are the clear seats to avoid — distant from the pitch, at poor angles to the goals, and far from the central action. This is the consistent challenge at NFL-shared soccer venues. Lower bowl end sections are passable for the atmosphere but significantly worse than midfield. Stick to midfield at any level.
Gillette Stadium runs roughly north-south, putting the east side stands in more direct afternoon sun. The west side benefits from upper deck shade earlier. New England weather can be cool even in summer, which moderates the impact of sun exposure compared to southern venues, but sunglasses are still recommended for first base-side afternoon games — particularly earlier in the season.
Gillette Stadium is open-air in Foxborough, Massachusetts. Spring and fall games can be cold and windy — New England weather is variable and the stadium’s suburban location offers limited wind shelter. Bring real layers for any April, May, September, or October game. Summer games are typically comfortable, and the long summer evenings in New England make July and August kickoffs some of the most pleasant in MLS.
Main Concourse - New England's beloved no-frills smash burger chain. Simple, quality ingredients, and a straightforward approach to a great burger. The classic double is the move.
Premium Club - Boston's landmark seafood brand brings their famous clam chowder and lobster rolls to Gillette Stadium on Revolution matchdays. A proper New England treat.
Throughout the Stadium - Boston Beer Company's flagship brand pours their Boston Lager and seasonal varieties throughout Gillette Stadium. The quintessential New England sports beer.
The Revolution play at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro — the NFL home of the New England Patriots and one of the more distinctive venues in MLS. The shared history of the venue with Patriots Super Bowl teams is palpable throughout, and the sheer scale of the place gives certain matches a big-event feel unlike smaller MLS venues.
It seems like there is a tailgate scene, and the supporters lot usually does one for every game in lot 3B.
Possibly 217-218 for bigger groups
New England Revolution's supporter groups — including the Midnight Riders — fill sections 141–143 in the south end of Gillette Stadium. Given the large NFL venue, the supporter section creates a concentrated pocket of atmosphere in an otherwise cavernous stadium. Non-Revolution apparel is not permitted in the supporter sections.
A selection of songs and chants can be found on The Midnight Riders website.
In the Stands offers apparel for fans who enjoy visiting ballparks and stadiums. While we all have our favorite teams, there are times when they aren't the ones playing. Our goal is to create a sense of community and camaraderie whenever you see someone wearing In the Stands apparel.
