Long Beach Airport is the more convenient option for Dignity Health Sports Park — just 9 miles away and a much simpler drive via I-405 or the 91 freeway. LAX is larger with more flight options but the drive through the South Bay can be unpredictable. A rideshare from LGB runs $20–30; from LAX expect $30–45.
Dignity Health Sports Park has extensive on-site parking in the surrounding StubHub Center complex lots. Parking is plentiful and well-organized — this is a drive-in suburban venue where the lots are the primary arrival mode. Pre-purchase online for better rates.
The Galaxy have a strong tailgating culture in the surrounding lots, led by the Angel City Brigade and other supporter groups. The Havoc on the Hill area near the north entrance is the primary supporter gathering zone pre-match. Arrive early — the lots are active 90+ minutes before kickoff on big match nights.
Transit options to Dignity Health Sports Park are limited. Metro Bus routes serve the general Dominguez area but require a walk from the nearest stops. Metro occasionally runs enhanced game-day service — check metro.net before each match. Most fans drive or rideshare from the LA metro area.
Dignity Health Sports Park is in Carson, a suburban industrial/commercial area with no walkable neighborhood surrounding it. Driving or rideshare are the only practical options.
Bike parking is available at the stadium. The South Bay has a growing bike trail network, and the Dominguez Channel trail provides some cycling connectivity, though this remains a primarily car-access venue.
Accessible parking is available in ADA-designated spaces throughout the on-site lots. The accessible drop-off zone is near the main entrance. For accessibility accommodations, contact the LA Galaxy at lagalaxy.com.
Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson serves as home to the LA Galaxy, one of the founding clubs of MLS and the team with more league championships than any other. The stadium opened in 2003 as a soccer-specific venue and holds 27,000 fans in a compact bowl that generates solid atmosphere, especially in the supporter section that drives one of the most established fan cultures in American soccer.
Carson is a South Bay city about 15 miles from downtown Los Angeles — suburban in feel, without a walkable neighborhood around the stadium. Driving is the practical approach for most fans, and the large parking area around the complex makes it manageable. The Blue Line Metro gets you to the general area but requires a connection, so ridesharing is often the more realistic transit option. The Galaxy's history and supporter culture make it a worthwhile pilgrimage for soccer fans visiting LA.
2 sealed water bottles no larger than 20oz per person is allowed into the stadium.
Outside food is not permitted.
Exceptions will be made for those with medical requirements and/or special needs and may need to be approved in advance by the Guest Services Department.
The stadium is a clear bag only venue. Guests are encouraged to limit the number of items they bring with them to the stadium.
Allowed bags include:
Prohibited bags include but are not limited to large purses, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, luggage of any kind, computer bags or any bag larger than the permissible size.
Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items that do not fit into a clear bag.
Dignity Health Sports Park (formerly StubHub Center) is a soccer-specific venue in Carson that has been one of MLS’s best matchday atmospheres for decades. The lower bowl midfield sections are close to the touchline with clean views of the full pitch. The Galaxy’s strong supporter culture ensures a lively environment on most matchdays.
The upper bowl midfield sections at Dignity Health Sports Park offer a clean elevated view of the full pitch at a lower price. The stadium’s compact design keeps the upper sections feeling relatively close to the action. A good value choice for a casual game, with the stadium’s soccer-specific design ensuring solid sightlines throughout the midfield.
End goal sections offer steep angles to the far goal and limited full-pitch views. The supporter section at the north end brings strong atmosphere but is standing and loud. Corner sections are similarly restricted. Midfield at any level is the consistent choice for watching the game. The inland Carson location also means this stadium can get hot in summer — shade is a meaningful factor.
Dignity Health Sports Park runs roughly north-south, with the east side facing west and getting more direct afternoon sun. The west side benefits from shade earlier. Importantly, the stadium’s inland Carson location is significantly hotter than the coastal parts of Los Angeles — afternoon games in summer can be much warmer than you’d expect for a Southern California venue. The shaded west side is a real comfort advantage.
While Los Angeles weather is generally mild, Dignity Health Sports Park’s inland location in Carson means afternoon summer temperatures are notably higher than the coast. Evening games are much more comfortable. Spring and fall games are typically excellent. Occasional Santa Ana wind events in fall can bring unusually hot and dry conditions. Rain is rare during the MLS season.
Main Concourse - Compton's legendary Texas-style BBQ institution brings their slow-smoked brisket and ribs to Dignity Health Sports Park. The brisket burnt ends sandwich is exceptional.
Section 120 - Southern California's iconic fast food institution has a dedicated stand inside the stadium. The Double-Double Animal Style is the obvious order.
Throughout the Stadium - Los Angeles's popular craft brewery pours their Wolf Pup Session IPA and Point the Way IPA alongside rotating seasonal options. The quintessential LA sports drink.
The LA Galaxy are MLS's most decorated club with five league championships, and legends like Landon Donovan and David Beckham. The imagery and tributes throughout Dignity Health Sports Park ground the club in American soccer's most storied chapter. For any fan of the game, this history is palpable on matchday.
Possibly 226-227 for bigger groups
LA Galaxy's supporter groups — the Angel City Brigade and LA Riot Squad — fill sections 120–123 in a standing supporter section at Dignity Health Sports Park. Flags, chants, and tifo displays create the best atmosphere in the stadium. Non-Galaxy or non-black and gold apparel is not permitted in the supporter sections.
In the Stands offers apparel for fans who enjoy visiting ballparks and stadiums. While we all have our favorite teams, there are times when they aren't the ones playing. Our goal is to create a sense of community and camaraderie whenever you see someone wearing In the Stands apparel.
