LAX is 8 miles from BMO Stadium in Exposition Park — close in distance but LA traffic can make it 20–40 minutes. The Metro E Line (Expo) connects from the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Center (reachable via shuttle from LAX terminals) to the Expo/Vermont station near the stadium. Burbank is better for fans coming from the Valley side.
BMO Stadium has very limited on-site parking. Exposition Park lots and USC-area structures provide additional options but fill fast on LAFC match nights. LAFC strongly encourages Metro use — driving to the Exposition Park area for a sold-out match is genuinely frustrating. Pre-booking via ParkWhiz is recommended if you must drive.
LAFC's 3252 supporters section is one of the most passionate supporter groups in MLS, and the pre-match atmosphere in the Exposition Park area is electric on big match nights. The park grounds and adjacent lots fill with fans well before kickoff. Check 3252 social channels for organized pre-match gatherings and tifo reveals.
The Metro E Line (Expo) is the clear way to BMO Stadium — the Expo/Vermont station is an 8-minute walk from the main entrance. The E Line runs from Santa Monica through Culver City, downtown LA, and connects to the broader Metro network. Metro extends service on match nights. Take the train.
BMO Stadium is in Exposition Park, adjacent to the USC campus and surrounded by cultural institutions (Natural History Museum, California Science Center, LA Memorial Coliseum). The park grounds are worth exploring before the match. University Park and West Adams are within walking distance.
Bike parking is available near BMO Stadium. Exposition Park's location near the USC campus and the developing South LA bike network makes cycling from Mid-City, West Adams, or downtown a viable option for confident urban riders.
Accessible parking is available in the limited on-site and adjacent lots — reserve in advance through LAFC. The accessible drop-off zone is on Exposition Blvd near the main entrance. For accessibility accommodations, contact LAFC at lafc.com.
BMO Stadium in Exposition Park is home to Los Angeles FC, one of the newer MLS clubs but one that hit the ground running with a passionate supporter culture and a purpose-built venue that suits it. The stadium holds 22,000 fans and opened in 2018, designed specifically for soccer with good sightlines, a dedicated standing section for the supporters' group (the 3252), and a compact atmosphere that concentrates noise.
Exposition Park is a rich area to be based in — the Natural History Museum, the California Science Center, and the recently renovated LA Memorial Coliseum are all neighbors. The Expo Line Metro (now the E Line) stops at Expo/Vermont, a short walk from the stadium. LAFC's supporter culture is among the strongest and most creative in MLS, and even a regular season matchday atmosphere is worth experiencing for any soccer fan visiting the city.
Sealed water bottles no larger than 20oz are allowed into the stadium.
Outside food is not permitted.
Exceptions will be made for those with medical requirements and/or special needs.
The stadium is a clear bag only venue. Guests are encouraged to limit the number of items they bring with them to the stadium.
Only (1) one of the following style and size bag, package, or container per person:
Prohibited bags include but are not limited to small clutches, large purses, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, luggage of any kind, computer bags or any bag larger than the permissible size.
Exceptions will be made for diaper bags and medically necessary items that do not fit into a clear bag.
BMO Stadium (formerly Banc of California Stadium) opened in 2018 and is widely regarded as one of the best soccer-specific venues in North America. The lower bowl is steep, intimate, and close to the touchline — midfield sections feel genuinely close to the action. LAFC’s 3252 supporter section at the north end is one of the most famous supporter environments in the sport, but the whole stadium benefits from the electric atmosphere.
BMO Stadium’s upper bowl midfield sections deliver a clean overhead view of the entire pitch. The steep bowl design means even the upper sections feel engaged with the game. A solid value choice, especially for regular-season games when lower bowl prices can be high for a high-profile club. The 3252 atmosphere carries throughout the whole venue.
Corner sections offer restricted views and are the weakest traditional viewing spots at BMO Stadium. The 3252 section is a legendary supporter environment — standing, tifo, drums, constant noise — but it’s not for traditional seated game-watching. It’s an experience in its own right, but go in knowing what you’re signing up for. Midfield is the right choice for watching the game.
BMO Stadium is oriented roughly north-south. The east side stands face west and get more direct afternoon sun for evening kickoffs. The west side benefits from shade earlier. The Exposition Park location near USC is cooler than further inland venues — afternoon games are more comfortable here than at Dignity Health Sports Park, but sunscreen is still recommended for any afternoon kickoff.
BMO Stadium benefits from LA’s coastal climate — temperatures are moderate year-round, evenings are comfortable, and rain is rare during the soccer season. Afternoon games can get warm in summer but not oppressively so compared to inland venues. A light layer is useful for evening games. The main weather wildcard is Santa Ana wind events in fall, which can briefly push temperatures higher.
Main Concourse - Chef Wes Avila's acclaimed LA taco truck concept brings their creative, ingredient-driven tacos to BMO Stadium. Genuinely one of the most celebrated taco operations in Los Angeles.
Club Level - Inspired by the Michelin-recognized restaurant, the market stand brings Middle Eastern-inflected mezze, flatbreads, and dips to LAFC matchdays. Surprisingly refined stadium food.
Throughout the Stadium - Los Angeles's beloved Arts District craft brewery pours their flagship Lager and rotating seasonal taps at BMO Stadium. Locally rooted and consistently well-made.
Tailgating is permitted only in the designated area of Christmas Tree Lane for LAFC matches. No bottles. Cans and cups only. Expo Park does not allow tailgating in the parking lots.
They have a number of Fan Fests throughout the season, but it seems like there are always people hanging out at Christmas Tree Lane.
At 34 degrees, the Supporters' Section is one of the steepest in MLS. The Supporters' Section is the largest safe standing section on the West Coast. Expect singing, clapping, and lots of cheering during the game. Also, probably expect some beer showers after a goal.
Finally, don't wear any other domestic or foreign club team jerseys in the supporters section. Only LAFC or black and gold attire is welcomed in The North End.

Chants/songs can be found on The 3252 website.
In the Stands offers apparel for fans who enjoy visiting ballparks and stadiums. While we all have our favorite teams, there are times when they aren't the ones playing. Our goal is to create a sense of community and camaraderie whenever you see someone wearing In the Stands apparel.
