Nu Stadium opened on April 4, 2026 as Inter Miami CF's permanent home, replacing the temporary Fort Lauderdale venue the club used since its 2020 debut. The 26,700-seat, soccer-specific stadium anchors Miami Freedom Park — a roughly $1 billion, 131-acre mixed-use development near Miami International Airport. Designed by Manica and Arquitectonica with a roofline inspired by the heron on the club's crest, the stadium features the largest canopy in MLS, a unified seating bowl, and a 360-degree open-air concourse with sweeping views of downtown Miami. The North End is home to La Familia and the club's other supporter groups — a safe-standing section built to be an "intimidating fortress" of noise.
The surrounding Miami Freedom Park district includes the 58-acre Jorge Mas Canosa Park (the largest new public park in Miami in generations), plus retail, dining, and youth athletic fields still being built out. The Miami Intermodal Center — accessible via Metrorail's Orange Line, Tri-Rail, and several Metrobus routes — is the closest transit hub, connected to the stadium by a short walk and a pedestrian bridge over a canal. Fans who ride the train get a flat $10 round-trip fare and a $10 food-and-beverage credit. Driving requires a pre-purchased parking pass, as no on-site sales are available on match days.
Nu Stadium is directly adjacent to Miami International Airport — the Miami Intermodal Center, the stadium's main transit hub, doubles as the airport's transit center. This is one of the most airport-accessible venues in MLS.
An ADA shuttle runs from the Miami Intermodal Center/Miami Trolley Stop to Nu Stadium on match days. Miami-Dade County's Special Transit Services (STS) offers a door-to-door option for registered guests.
Parking passes must be pre-purchased online — no on-site purchases are available on match days. Rideshare drop-off and pickup zones are available near the stadium.
Miami Freedom Park's surrounding plaza and Jorge Mas Canosa Park space host pregame Fan Zone activities, tailgate-style gatherings, and giveaways outside the stadium before matches.
The Miami Intermodal Center is the closest hub, reached via Metrorail's Orange Line, Tri-Rail (from Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties), several Metrobus routes, and the free Flagami Trolley. From the station, wayfinding signage leads across a pedestrian bridge directly into Miami Freedom Park. Metrorail runs augmented service on match days. Riders get a flat $10 round-trip fare plus a $10 food-and-beverage credit redeemable at Guest Services outside Section 101.
The stadium is walkable from the Miami Intermodal Center via a dedicated pedestrian bridge, but there isn't yet an established walkable neighborhood immediately around the stadium as the wider Freedom Park district continues to develop.

Diapers and wipes can be carried in a clear bag. Each member of a family including children will be able to carry an approved clear bag, providing ample storage capacity.
Nu Stadium's unified seating bowl keeps the lower midfield sections close to the touchline with clean sightlines across the full pitch. Pitchside seats and the East Club (the "Messi Stand" side) offer the most premium, closest-to-the-action experience in the stadium.
The 200-level upper bowl wraps the entire stadium with a steep enough rake that even back rows hold a clean line to the pitch. Every seat at this level sits under the largest canopy roof in MLS, meaning full shade — a genuine advantage in Miami's heat, at a lower price than lower-bowl seats.
The North End is home to La Familia and Inter Miami's other supporter groups — non-stop chanting, drums, flags, and pink smoke for 90 minutes, but it's safe-standing with no assigned seats and flatter sightlines from behind the goal. Great for the atmosphere, not for families with young kids or anyone who wants to sit and follow the tactics.
Nu Stadium's open-air design means sun exposure varies significantly by section. The east side bakes longest through afternoon and early-evening matches. The west sideline holds shade earlier, and the 200-level upper bowl is shaded under the canopy roof at every section — the most sun-protected option regardless of kickoff time.
Nu Stadium is open-air, and South Florida's heat, humidity, and near-daily afternoon thunderstorms make evening kickoffs strongly preferable in summer. Bring non-aerosol sunscreen (aerosols are prohibited), dress light, and take advantage of the free A1R hydration stations — outside water bottles aren't permitted through the gates. Winter matches (roughly November through March) offer some of the best weather conditions in MLS.
Main Concourse - James Beard Award-winning chef Michelle Bernstein's market-style concession serves ham and cheese croquettes, buffalo chicken empanadas, and choripan with Argentine chorizo and chimichurri.
North Side, near the supporters' section - The two-time South Beach Wine & Food Festival Burger Bash champion brings its award-winning burgers to Nu Stadium.
Concourse - At 185 feet, the longest bar in MLS wraps the concourse with panoramic views of downtown Miami — the natural pregame gathering spot.
The Fan Zone, presented by Baptist Health, runs from the south side of Nu Stadium to the north end, opening three hours before kickoff. It includes tailgate-style activities, futbol games, product samples from club partners, and giveaways. Vice City 1896 and allied La Familia groups also organize their own tailgate gatherings — check supporter group social media for current details.
Inter Miami's supporter groups — collectively La Familia, including The Siege, Vice City 1896, Southern Legion, Nacion Rosa y Negro, and IMS.MMXX — anchor the North Stand (sections 131–133) at Nu Stadium, a safe-standing section built to be an "intimidating fortress" of noise. Important: Strollers and infant carriers are not permitted at Nu Stadium — a stricter policy than most MLS venues. Bring a soft carrier or plan without a stroller.
First aid: Baptist Health operates a First Aid station on the Main Concourse between Sections 238–239 (Northwest corner).
